Every little soul counts... Saving Animals From Euthanasia (SAFE) Team is dedicated to rescuing animals who are homeless, unwanted or facing euthanization in an Edmonton area shelter. SAFE Reps would like to encourage everyone to please spay/neuter their pets to help control the animal population so that we don't have anymore being born without a place to call home. Thousands of deserving, beautiful animals like the ones you see on our website end up neglected, abused and homeless every year due to lack of responsibility in pet owners. Please help control this problem and alter your pets before reproduction. Updates Sponsor Walk SAFE Team is holding a sponsor walk to raise funds to provide quality living for animals in need! This 5 km walk will take place on Saturday, September 18, 2010 at 11am. We will be meeting at Millwoods Town Centre in the southwest side of the parking lot by Zellers. If you are interested in sponsoring one of our representatives, or want to participate in the walk please contact us! Adoption Days SAFE Team will be having Adoption days at Tail Blazers 7520 Gateway Boulevard, Edmonton, falling on the second (2nd) Saturday of every month from 12pm - 4pm. Please come down to meet some of our animals up for adoption and support our cause! SAFE Team is in desperate need of foster homes!! Please help animals in need by being a temporary care giver until their forever home is found!! All supplies required for the animal will be provided!! Barn Homes are needed for feral cats in our community! If you can offer a few cats a safe barn to live in please view our feral cat information under our Barn Cats page and apply to save a life today. We are in desperate need of cat litter and cat beds.
